Talk to your sales team!

If you're a marketer or copywriter, and you're NOT talking to the sales team, you're making a big mistake.
Here's why:
+ They talk to customers and potential customers every single day. What's more, they talk about those customers' pain points, goals and desires. That information is extremely useful for #copywriting.
+ They can immediately tell you which assets you build are useful, and which ones are scrap. You're not going to like how many of them are scrap.
+ They are the kings and queens of objection handling. They know what kind of barriers stop people from buying - and how to overcome those barriers.
+ They can give you frank feedback on the leads you're sending them. This will be a rude awakening when you find out the campaign you popped champagne over sent them hundreds of leads that had no interest in buying.
So book a meeting or take them out for a beer/wine/coffee/whatever. Make it a regular thing - you won't regret it.
